In reply to Grace. I like to roast mine which removes fat and does not ruin the meat which can be eaten at meals. No nutrition left in it if you boil for so long. Bone broth is a way to concentrate nutrition left in "scrap". But it is kinda the best part to me! A dash of raw vinegar helps minerals leach out as you boil. Best bang for your buck is to save bones for making a BIG BATCH and freeze extra. Then when someone needs a boost (fighting illness) there is a store of goodness. Of course having some on a regular basis keeps us stronger in the first place . . .

Thanks for posting this. This is called Shankha Prakshalana. It’s an ancient yogic technique of cleansing the colon.

In yoga it is recommended to do 5 exercises after drinking 2 glasses of the sea salt water. There are simple and help the water flow through the intestines.

This is the conch cleanse. Think of your intestines twisted and turned as they are and the exercises to help facilitate the flow of the water through them.

You drink 2 glasses, do the exercises, drink 2 more and keep repeating until you have the movement.

You will go several times until the water rings light brown and then almost clear or clear depending upon your body.

Take 1 hour of rest afterwards having fresh water. Then eat a rice and vegetable porridge with 3 tsp of ghee to moisten the alimentary canal. Refrain from meats, dairy, alcohol, coffee and teas for 2 days.

Do not do this cleanse more than twice per year.

Have decided to take a juice fast this weekend to cleanse from statin drug my doctor prescribed and absolutely inflamed my joints. I'm going to just juice instead of eating solid foods as I want this stuff out of my system, but if you're just juicing for the healthy benefits you can add it to your already healthy diet, I believe.

Easy recipe to follow. I did change a few things in the process as I’m familiar with making puddings. I didnt wait for the coconut and maple syrup mixture to cool too much after the boil. I had warmed up the eggs in their shell in warm water. After mixing the warmed eggs and thickener ( i used corn starch), I briskly whisked half of boiled milk mixture into the eggs mixture. Then mixed the egg mixture back into pot. I turned heat up to medium and whisked till pudding began to thicken, then turned down heat to medium low, whisking till thick. Followed everything else exactly. Nice flavor warm! Not too sweet. Thanks for recipe.
